aflutter (a list)

  • i had an idea for the shampton industries shop. and then another idea. and another. next thing i knew i was up until almost 2 and had set up a tumblr and reopened the shop. 
  • a couple of other ideas seem to be coming along nicely.
  • i've made a list of people to send happy mail to this week and now can't wait to get started.
  • i made this tomato paste. it took 8 hours but i think it was well worth it. we froze it in small portions and am looking forward to adding it to my winter soups. it takes just like summer.
  • shawn's playing bumbershoot with lovebomb go go this weekend. crazy, right? i'm so excited i agreed to sew a few capes for the band. 
  • i've also started work on the 2013 emrboidery project. i'm starting early this year and scaling back but i'm still pretty psyched.
  • yesterday we walked to the grocery store. i ended up taking a bunch of pictures of our walk. some days i just can't get over how pretty portland is.
