crush month - day 31

my favorite part of driving from san francisco back to portland was crossing through the redwoods. words and pictures can't really convey how magic they truly are. so old and so, so giant - standing beside one is truly humbling. i could go on and on but i won't - mainly because i'll sound a little crazy. i will say this - these trees could turn the most cynical, most jaded person into a smiling, happy tree-hugger.
